VintageCam

This Privacy Notice describes how VintageCam ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use the App. VintageCam is developed and maintained independently; the developer can be reached at contact@carlosdurazo.dev. By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Notice.

VintageCam does not operate any backend server, and does not collect, transmit, or store your photos, personal information, or usage data on any server owned or controlled by us. All photo capture, filtering, and processing happens entirely on your device.

Photos you capture within the App are saved directly to your device's Photos library using Apple's PhotoKit framework, with your explicit permission (granted via the standard iOS permission prompt). We do not access, view, copy, or transmit your existing photo library, and we do not upload any photo to any server. Your photos exist only: locally on your device, and in any photo backup, sync, or cloud storage service you have independently enabled on your device (for example, iCloud Photos, or any third-party backup app you have installed and configured). We have no access to, control over, or responsibility for those services; their handling of your photos is governed entirely by their own privacy policies and your own device settings.

The App requests camera access to provide the live preview and take photos, and requests limited "Add Photos Only" photo library access to save your captures. You may revoke either permission at any time in your device's Settings app; doing so will limit or disable the corresponding feature but will not affect photos already saved.

The App offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock additional features. All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive, process, or store your payment card information, billing address, or Apple ID credentials — that information is handled solely by Apple, subject to Apple's own privacy policy. We locally store, on your device only, whether you have purchased the full version, so the App can unlock features; this record is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

Certain preferences (such as your chosen filters, date-stamp style, save resolution, and selected app icon) are stored only on your device using Apple's standard local storage. These preferences are never transmitted off your device.

The App does not include any analytics, crash-reporting, tracking, or advertising software development kits (SDKs). We do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not build any profile of your usage of the App.

Because we do not collect any personal information or photos, we do not sell, rent, or share any such information with third parties, for advertising purposes or otherwise.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App collects no personal information from any user, this applies equally to users of all ages.

While we do not collect or store your data on any server, please note that no method of electronic storage on any device is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own device, including any passcode, biometric lock, and backup/cloud sync settings.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this Notice. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Notice.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PHOTOS OR DATA. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT LIMIT ANY RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE THAT CANNOT BE LAWFULLY WAIVED UNDER YOUR JURISDICTION'S LAW.

This Notice is governed by the laws of your jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
